Light Control Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU receives light control switch, dimmer switch and front fog light switch information signals from the headlight dimmer switch.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH)

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List /

(e) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


(a) Remove the headlight dimmer switch assembly LIGHTING (EXT): HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia) .

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU)


(a) Disconnect the H11 headlight dimmer switch assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the H3, H4 and DD main body ECU connectors.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
